How to Engage with The Energy Consortium IIT Madras
Where Industry Challenges Meet Research Innovation
Engagement routes evidenced in 2025-26 span funded research, advisory committees, mobility programs and public convenings:
- Sign a bilateral/multilateral research agreement (master framework, MoU) with a relevant Centre of Excellence
- Nominate a representative to the Industry Advisory Board and its sub-committees (TRENDsetter, Pilot Scale Development, External Engagement, Government Engagement)
- Co-fund a TRENDsetter seed grant or pilot-demonstrator project with affiliated faculty
- Participate in Industry Day, workshops (Green Ports, Green Hydrogen, ESG, Transportation Decarbonization) and the CII-SR Energy Transition Summit
- Host or co-mentor student interns, mobility-program researchers, or Joint MSc thesis projects
Engage via the global alliance network ā Australia (DFAT/AISRF), Denmark (Energy Agency, Innovation Centre Denmark), UK (Energy Systems Catapult, University of Birmingham)
